Nextant G90XT Price, Performance, Cabin, and Range – Nextant G90XT is a version of the Beechcraft King Air C90 series that was carefully rebuilt and upgraded, an American utility aircraft manufactured from 1964 to the present. This is the world's first turboprop aircraft equipped with a single lever cockpit and new cabin, the twin engine Nextant G90XT is a remanufactured version of Beechcraft King Air with modern features. It has a maximum power of 845 horsepower and can fly up to 1,285 nautical miles.

Nextant G90XT received primary certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in November 2015. In October 2016, the Nextant G90XT initial flight test was conducted four times for a total of approximately ten flight hours. At the end of the year, turboprop aircraft received final certification for the Electronic Engine and Propeller Control (EEPC) from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). In the first few months of 2017, airplane delivery takes place.

Nextant G90XT Cockpit and Avionics

The Nextant G90XT cockpit is equipped with a Garmin G1000 integrated flight instrument system with two Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) units, one functioning as the main flight display and the other as a large multi-function display, and an integrated communication panel that fits between the two. It also has a third display unit that functions as the main flight display copilot, alphanumeric keyboard, and integrated flight director or autopilot.

The main flight display has basic flight instruments such as altimeter airspeed indicators, heading indicators, altitude indicators and course deviation indicators. This can be used in flight plan activation and is able to present all data displayed on a multi-function screen. Multi-function display usually presents machine instrumentation on the left side and a moving map on the right side. It also shows information about the nearest airport and navigation aids, terrain awareness, XM satellite radio, flight plan programming, settings menus, and Global Positioning System (GPS) Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM) predictions.

The Nextant G90XT cockpit is equipped with a reduction in the workload of modern pilot aircraft avionics systems such as full automatic start capability, direct interface, and the latest Electronic Engine Control (EEC) system that enables single lever power technology. Electronic engine control enables control of single engine lever power and propeller. This allows the engine to perform maximum efficiency under certain conditions and make all decisions until the pilot decides to enter.

One of the features of the Nextant G90XT aircraft is the Garmin GFC700 digital autopilot. This is an automatic flight control based on Altitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) that has enhanced autopilot, flight director, yaw dampers, automatic and manual trim capabilities.

Nextant G90XT Cabin and Interior

The Nextant G90XT cabin can accommodate up to seven or eight passengers. It has a cabin length of 3.84 meters, a height of 1.47 meters and a width of 1.42 meters. Cabin volume is 6.65 cubic meters. It has a 1.4 cubic meter luggage area with a maximum luggage weight of 159 kg.

The Nextant 690XT cabin is very quiet with noise levels below 9.5 decibels. The cabin has a steam cycle cooling system where the refrigerant absorbs all the heat inside the cabin and releases it into the outside air. Airplane cabs can be adjusted depending on user preferences. This can be VIP transport, mixed passenger aircraft, cargo utility aircraft, or even MEDEVAC (medical evacuation) or used in air ambulance operations.

Nextant G90XT Engine and Performance

The Nextant G90XT aircraft is powered by two GE H75-100 turboprop engines with intensified economy and performance compared to the previous turboprop type. Each engine is capable of producing a maximum thrust of 845 hp and has the ability to operate even at higher temperatures. It has a two stage axial compressor and one stage centrifugal.

The Nextant G90XT can fly with a maximum cruise speed of 280 knots (519 km / h) to have a distance of 1,285 nautical miles. The aircraft service ceiling is 30,000 ft, and the climbing speed is 2,000 ft per minute. The aircraft has a maximum takeoff and landing weight of 4,762 kg and 3,595 kg, respectively. The landing distance is 763 meters.

Nextant G90XT Price
